TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran’s deputy minister of agricultural Jihad said that following the recent nuclear deal with six world powers, also known as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), there has been a rise in the country’s agreements on agricultural cooperation with various European states.
Since the conclusion of the nuclear talks between Iran and the Group 5+1 (Russia, China, the US, Britain, France and Germany), a huge number of foreign delegations have come to sign contracts with Iran in diverse areas, agriculture in particular, Khalil Aqayee told the Tasnim News Agency on Sunday.
He added that European countries, including France and Russia, have shown great interest in mutual cooperation with Iran in the agricultural sector.
Aqayee went on to say that after the recent nuclear deal, Iranian delegations headed by Minister of Agricultural Jihad Mahmoud Hojjati also have paid reciprocal visits to European countries to boost bilateral relations.
There has been a new wave of interest in ties with Iran after Tehran and the Group 5+1 (also known as P5+1 and E3+3) on July 14 reached a conclusion over the text of a comprehensive 159-page deal on Tehran’s nuclear program.
The comprehensive nuclear deal between Iran and the six powers would terminate all nuclear-related sanctions imposed on Iran after coming into force.
Experts believe that Iran’s economic growth would rise remarkably after the final nuclear deal takes effect.
